PILOT was built as a magazine that amplifies the voices, the fiction, the photos, the interviews, the poetry, the pottery, the essays, and the stories filling the space around us. We’re highlighting art that inspires from artists we admire. We’ve published pieces of work that are unique, created with the juxtaposition of assurance and apprehension. Derived from influence and inspiration, yet containing a genuine sense of newness.

When creating something, there will always be a way in which you’re supposed to do it — how it’s taught, when to start, when to finish, how it should look, who should accept it, who should like it. This publication presents creativity from strangers, old friends and new, those willing to put their art into the world regardless of imperfections, timing, or circumstance.

Each time you come to this space, you will find new stories to read, images to see, and sounds to hear. More than an idea but far from perfect. Like all of us, it’s a PILOT.
